Territory Manager

Blue Bell Creameries is seeking a TERRITORY MANAGER for our Memphis, TN location.

 

A territory manager’s responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Supervising merchandisers, driver salespersons and route supervisors;
  • Analyzing the assigned territory for new prospects and performing cold calls;
  • Analyzing present customers for proper space and delivery of correct product assortment;
  • Setting up program of promotions for territory accounts;
  • Re-stocking ice cream product displays during promotions and non-delivery days;
  • Working with the credit manager to collect overdue accounts;
  • Maintaining good relations with customers and their personnel;
  • Performing administrative and office duties including submitting required reports;
  • Regular communication with the branch manager and/or sales manager.
  • Overseeing and maintaining transfer station facility, fleet and product inventory. 
  • A territory manager must be able to become DOT certified and obtain a CDL class B license. You will be provided on the job training to obtain these certifications after the hire date.

The ideal candidate is dependable, has good communication, leadership/managerial abilities and is willing to work with frozen products.

Job Requirements

A candidate must possess the following job requirements:

  • At least 21 years old
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college 
  • Safe driving record with no more than two preventable collisions or moving violations in the past three years
  • Ability to lift up to 30 Lbs.
  • Valid Driver License
