Elementary School Teacher

Position: Elementary School Teacher (Kindergarten - Third Grade)

Location: East Cleveland City School District
School Year: 2025–2026
Contract: 189 Days
Salary: Per the East Cleveland Education Association (ECEA) negotiated contract

Qualifications

Required:

Bachelor’s degree or higher

Proper and current certification to teach the appropriate content and grade levels

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Ability to collaborate effectively with a diverse teaching team

Willingness to grow as an educational leader

Ability to adapt in a fast-paced, changing environment

Preferred:

Master’s degree in Education or a related field

At least 3 years of urban teaching experience

Demonstrated success in raising student academic performance

Experience in school leadership, culture building, coaching, and staff development

Responsibilities

Other Duties:

Additional tasks as assigned by building or central office administrators

Use of standard office and classroom technology

Travel between school sites or to professional meetings as needed

Work in standard school/office environments
