Direct Support Services
Residential Support
Provide support with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including hygiene, meal preparation, housekeeping, and personal care as needed
Ensure the safety, supervision, and well-being of individuals in the home
Support individuals in following daily routines, house rules, and individualized plans
Monitor and report changes in behavior, health, or mood
Assist with medication administration only if properly trained and authorized
Maintain a clean, safe, and respectful living environment
Community-Based Support (CC & CE)
Support individuals during Community Coaching (1:1) and Community Engagement (1:2–3) services
Assist individuals with community outings, social skill development, coping strategies, and independence
Provide transportation to approved activities using personal or agency vehicles, as authorized
Encourage participation in preferred and goal-related community activities
Promote appropriate social behavior, safety awareness, and decision-making in the community
Documentation & Compliance
Complete accurate and timely progress notes and billing sheets in accordance with ISP goals and HCBS standards
Follow documentation timelines and agency procedures
Report incidents, concerns, and significant changes promptly
Maintain compliance with DBHDS, waiver requirements, and agency policies
Professional Conduct
Maintain respectful, professional communication with individuals, families, guardians, residential providers, and agency staff
Attend required trainings, meetings, and supervision sessions
Follow all confidentiality and HIPAA requirements
Adhere to assigned schedules and notify supervisors in advance of absences
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Ability to pass background checks, fingerprinting, and required screenings
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and follow written and verbal instructions
