Position Summary
Plug Inc. is actively seeking a highly motivated student to join our team. The student will be responsible for assisting in fuel cell failure analysis and reliability engineering.
Core Duties and Responsibilities
Returned stack or component analysis.
Report findings of failure analysis.
Field reliability data analysis and relation of fuel cell stack reliability and component reliability.
Electrochemical surface area measurement, data analysis and reporting.
Stack testing as needed.
Gain a foundational understanding of industry standards, regulations, and best practices in manufacturing and technology.
Communication and Collaboration across cross-functional teams
Develop effective communication skills by collaborating with team members and presenting findings to different stakeholders.
Education and Qualification
Pursuing a Bachelor of Science, Master's or PhD degree in Chemistry, Physics, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrochemistry, Material Science or a related program.
Must have reliable transportation to the office in Slingerlands, New York and/or Latham, New York
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Possess solid hands-on approach to problem-solving
Demonstrated analytical abilities with strong attention to detail
Excellent follow-through
Must be driven and self-motivated
