Working every other weekend
Unit Description: The Emergency Department at CVPH has 29 beds, 4 beds in the Behavioral Decision Unit, and 7 beds in Fast Track. Registered Nurses are supported in obtaining and maintaining their TNCC certification.
On-call: Not required.

General Summary: Registered Nurse is responsible for the management of patient care utilizing the nursing process to asses, plan, implement, and evaluate patient outcomes. The nurse directs and guides the delivery of nursing care, patient education, and all care related activities, while maintaining standards of professional nursing collaborating with other disciplines as appropriate. The RN may be required to float.
Qualifications:
1. Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing.
2. Currently licensed as a Registered Professional Nurse in New York State.
3. BLS or ACLS required with ACLS certification within 6 months of hire.
4. Meets requirements of physical/pre-placement screening.
5. Minimum of one year of nursing experience preferred.
