Job Title: Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA)

Job Summary:
We are seeking dedicated Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) to join our school team in Mobile, AL for the remainder of the remainder of the school year. This is a rewarding opportunity to work in an educational setting, supporting students in grades PreK–12 under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP).
Responsibilities:
Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students as directed by the supervising SLP
Assist with the implementation of Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
Document student progress and maintain accurate service records
Support classroom teachers and staff in implementing communication strategies
Prepare therapy materials and set up activities to support student goals
Communicate effectively with students, staff, and families while maintaining confidentiality
Qualifications:
Current state SLPA license/certification (or eligibility)
Previous experience working with children in educational or clinical settings preferred
Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
Ability to follow treatment plans and work under supervision
Position Details:
Onsite, school-based role
Full-time and part-time schedules available
PreK–12 caseloads (assignments based on experience and district needs)
Full support from district staff and supervising SLPs
