Maternity Leave Replacement - Kindergarten Teacher

Whiton Elementary School

Dates: April 16, 2026 - June 18, 2026

No tenure accrual

Job Description: Teacher

Qualifications: 

  • Holds or is eligible for a New Jersey instructional certificate with appropriate teaching endorsement.
  • Additional subject matter certifications are a plus.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of effective teaching methods and developmentally appropriate classroom activities for students with disabilities.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of subject matter in mathematics and literacy.
  • Ability to maintain a positive learning environment.

Compensation: Following the established BTEA Salary Guide ranging from $62,244.00 to $99,585.00, commensurate with experience. 

Benefits: 

  • Enrollment in the New Jersey Pension System is subject to term/status of the position.

Paid Time Off

  • Sick, Personal, Critical Family Illness, and Bereavement Days are included.
