Reading Specialist Fuller Elementary School

Are you passionate about literacy and dedicated to ensuring every student has the tools to succeed? SAU 29 is seeking a dedicated Reading Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be the cornerstone of our literacy program, providing essential support to both students and teachers to ensure all learners meet or exceed grade-level reading standards.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

Provide targeted literacy intervention and support to students across various grade levels.

Collaborate with classroom teachers to implement effective, evidence-based reading strategies.

Assess student progress and utilize data to drive instructional decisions.

Serve as a resource for best practices in reading and writing instruction.

 

Qualifications

 

Certification: Must hold (or be eligible for) New Hampshire Certification as Reading and Writing Specialist (#0037).

Proven ability to foster a positive learning environment and close achievement gaps.

  • Strong collaborative skills to work effectively within a professional learning community.
