Sports Sales Intern
Role Overview
The Sports Sales Intern will play a key role in expanding Diaza’s presence into new markets by identifying teams, clubs, and organizations interested in custom-designed apparel. This role blends sales, market research, and creative collaboration, giving interns exposure to both the commercial and design sides of the sports apparel industry.
You will work closely with Diaza’s sales and design teams to help bring new team partnerships from outreach to concept.
Key Responsibilities
- Research and identify new markets, leagues, and regions for expansion
- Prospect and reach out to clubs, academies, and sports organizations
- Qualify teams interested in custom uniform and apparel designs
- Assist in initiating custom design conversations with prospective clients
- Support sales reps with proposals, presentations, and follow-ups
- Track outreach and leads in Diaza’s CRM and sales trackers
- Collaborate with the design team to understand client needs and branding goals
- Assist with onboarding new teams and early-stage order coordination
Qualifications
- Current undergraduate student (Sophomore or Junior preferred)
- Strong interest in sports, sales, and business development
- Comfortable with outreach, research, and communication
- Organized, proactive, and eager to learn in a startup environment
- Soccer knowledge or creative interest is a plus, but not required
