Position Summary

Lucy School seeks a passionate and collaborative Elementary Teacher to join our dedicated faculty for the 2026–2027 school year. We’re looking for a creative educator who embraces student-centered learning, integrates the arts into instruction, and contributes positively to our close-knit school community.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging, developmentally appropriate instruction in core academic subjects for Grade 1 elementary-aged students 
• Integrate arts and experiential learning into the curriculum to enrich students’ academic and creative development.
• Differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning needs and support student growth.
• Collaborate regularly with colleagues, specialists, and teaching artists to support interdisciplinary projects and school programs.
• Foster a classroom environment that reflects Lucy School’s values of curiosity, respect, community, and environmental stewardship.
• Communicate effectively with families and participate in school events and community activities.
