Marketing and Sales Specialist

Location: Beverly, MA, conveniently located off route 95/128, within a well-established and vibrant NorthShore biotech ecosystem.

 

About the Role: RAN Biotech is an innovative and growing company developing solutions to address needs in cutting-edge technologies, such as Next-Generation Sequencing (NGS), drug discovery, single cell encapsulation and manipulation and point-of-use microbe detection. We are seeking a Marketing and Sales specialist to join our team and contribute to developing and executing strategies to promote and sell RAN Biotech’s products. This position requires a deep understanding of relevant scientific concepts and strong communication skills, while generating leads and driving sales through targeted marketing campaigns. 

 

Duties: 

 

  • Market research and analysis: Identifying market trends, competitor analysis, and potential customer segments to inform marketing and sales strategies.
  • Product positioning and messaging: Developing compelling narratives highlighting the unique benefits and value proposition of products.
  • Content creation: Crafting marketing materials like presentations, white papers, website content, blog posts, and social media content.
  • Lead generation: Identifying and qualifying potential customers through various channels. 
  • Sales outreach: Contacting prospective clients, scheduling meetings, and delivering product demonstrations. 
  • Customer relationship management: Managing customer and providing ongoing support. 
  • Sales cycle management. 
  • Collaboration with cross-functional teams: Working closely with scientists, engineers and technologists. 

 

Required Education and Skills: 

 

  • Scientific background: strong understanding of biology, genetics, molecular biology, or a related life science field.
  • Technical expertise: Knowledge in droplet microfluidics technologies, applications, and methodologies.
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Marketing proficiency: Experience in developing and executing marketing campaigns across various channels, including digital marketing.
  • Sales acumen: Proven track record in sales.
  • Market awareness: In-depth knowledge of the biotech industry in general and genomics in particular.
