Position Overview

Humanity & Wellness Expansion is seeking motivated, intellectually curious interns for our AI & Wellness Internship, a high-impact research and applied learning opportunity at the intersection of mental health, artificial intelligence, ethics, and organizational wellness.

This internship offers exclusive access to the CASCE Level III Research Track, providing advanced exposure to structured research development, applied evaluation methods, and collaboration opportunities connected to emerging technology and wellness initiatives.

Interns will work closely with leadership on real-world projects examining how AI tools are being integrated into behavioral health, nonprofit, and organizational systems, while critically assessing risk, equity, ethics, and harm reduction.

Key Responsibilities

Assist with qualitative and/or literature-based research on AI and wellness topics

Support development of research briefs, evaluation tools, and ethical frameworks

Participate in research meetings, strategy sessions, and learning modules

Contribute to data synthesis, writing, and critical analysis

Engage in collaborative discussions around equity, ethics, and systems impact

No prior AI or coding experience required.

Time Commitment

Approximately 20 hours per week
