Data & AI Analytics Intern

Position Summary:
This position will be a forward-thinking Data & AI Analytics Intern to join our Data Engineering team, working at the intersection of AI-driven business intelligence, Snowflake-based data solutions, and modern analytics engineering. This role offers hands-on experience with cutting-edge AI features, scalable data platforms, and real-world business problems. The candidate should be passionate about data, analytics, and emerging AI technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prototype AI-powered analytics use cases, including natural language querying, Cortex Agents, and multimodal data
- Assist in designing and optimizing data pipelines using Snowflake, Talend, and SQL to support analytics workflows.
- Integrate AI/ML models into BI dashboards and workflows to enhance predictive analytics and decision-making.
- Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders to deliver actionable insights via tools like Qlik, Tableau, or Looker.
- Document findings, best practices, and processes for deploying Snowflake Intelligence and AI-enhanced analytics across departments.
- Support training and enablement efforts for non-technical users to adopt AI-powered tools.
- Analyze performance, accuracy, and user experience of AI features and suggest improvements.
Key Qualifications:
- Pursuing a degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Business Analytics, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Familiarity with SQL, Snowflake, and cloud data plat
- Exposure to AI/ML concepts, especially generative AI and natural language processing.
- Experience with BI tools (e.g., Qlik, Tableau) and data visualization
- Understanding of basic machine learning tools (e.g., Python, with Langflow & Lang Chain).
- Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Education Requirements:
The ideal candidate will be rising junior or rising senior pursuing a major in Data Science, Computer Science, Business Analytics, Information Systems, or a related field.

Pay Transparency: This role is based in our Washington, D.C. office. The following are the intended hourly rates for this part time/nonexempt role: Rising Junior-$24.00; Rising Senior-$25.00; Current Grad/PhD Student- $29.00.

*This position will be primarily based in the Washington D.C. (or applicable) office. ACS employees work a hybrid work schedule, consisting of working onsite, two days per week. Schedule flexibility may be required for this role to support in-office activities. While always welcome to work in the office, employees may work the other three days of the week from a location of their choice.
