Lifeguard

Provide professional lifeguard services for the Moseley Sports Center swimming pool, by maintaining safe swimming conditions in the pool, deck and surrounding areas.  Be a courteous, positive, and proactive member of the Alaska Pacific University staff. Employees must be available to work a flexible schedule which includes evenings and sometimes weekends.

MINIMUM CERTIFICATION QUALIFICATION:

·        Current lifeguard certification (American Red Cross, National Pool & Water park, YMCA, or equivalent),

·        Current CPR Professional Rescuer and First-Aid certification (if not included with lifeguard certification).   

·        All certifications must be kept current through duration of position and is the responsibility of the employee to keep current.
