Copywriter/Social Media Coordinator-Dining and Retail Services
PURPOSE OF POSITION:
The role of the Copywriter & Social Media are to deliver a high level of customer service, marketing strategy, aesthetic appeal, resource coordination, and timeline management to promotional campaigns within the UWM Division of Student Affairs. This role is also responsible for facilitating the collaboration of multi-disciplinary teams within the UWM Dining & Retail Services. This position reports to the Marketing Specialist for Dining & Retail Services.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Freshman, Sophomore, or Junior in Marketing or JAMS fields
- Experience with collaborative creative processes.
- Experience managing projects and working with deadlines.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Collaborate with Marketing colleagues and clients to develop innovative marketing strategies, campaigns, and timelines for Dining and Retail Services
- Monitors projects to ensure they are on schedule
- Maintains project records and files
- Conducts and evaluates various marketing assessments, establish benchmarks
- Build relationships and effective communication techniques
- Communicates timelines and required information internally and externally (stakeholders and clients)
- Facilitates interdepartmental communication and teamwork
- Utilizes available tools to drive creative consensus and decision-making
- Additional duties including, but not limited to:
- Proficiency with Project Management systems
- Sets examples for colleagues in areas of personal character, commitment, organizational skills, communication, and work habits
- Additional support and projects as assigned and needed
