CONSTRUCTION MANAGEMENT CO-OP

SUMMER 2026 CO-OP

This job involves assisting in the oversight of federally, State, and locally funded projects to ensure that proper construction practices are followed and plans and specifications are adhered to, thereby providing the future integrity of our infrastructure by identifying potential problems and offering solutions during construction. These construction and maintenance projects are typically located on State, County, or Township roadway systems and include, but are not limited to, roadway improvements, culvert and bridge replacements, in-service inspections, private developments (such as subdivisions), channel stabilization, roadway slips, and retaining walls. 

Duties shall include inspecting, overseeing, directing, generating reports, conducting punch lists, calculating quantities, reviewing estimates, and coordinating work with contractors and property owners. The incumbent shall monitor material testing and sampling, including, but not limited to, concrete cylinders, air tests, slump tests, and soil compaction tests.
