2026 Spring Web Design Intern

We are seeking 1 Web Design Intern to partner with our team on a website refresh that reflects our evolving brand identity and global mission. This internship is ideal for a creative, detail-oriented designer with experience building and customizing Squarespace websites.

Internship Details:
When: February 9 – April 30 2026
Where: Remote with some in-person collaboration in Charlottesville, VA
Pay: Competitive stipend

What You'll Do:
Collaborate with staff to refresh brand identity for a new website; support improvements to site layout, navigation, and visual consistency; redesign swag; build interactive tools to support an engaging UX; deliver a portfolio-ready website project.

Ideal Background:
Web Design / Digital Design; Graphic Design or Visual Communication
UX / UI Design; Marketing or Communications with strong design skills; experience with Squarespace (required); experience with Google Looker (preferred).

For over a decade, the Presidential Precinct has created fellowships and other program opportunities across the state of Virginia, hosting over 1,500 leaders from more than 170 countries.
