Finance Intern  

The City of Centerville, a “warm and cheerful” community with a population of approximately 24,000 located southeast of Dayton in Montgomery County has an exciting opportunity for a Summer Internship in the Finance Department.  The Finance Intern will assist with finance projects and will be involved in planning and coordinating special projects and budgetary project management. Responsible students pursuing a degree in finance, accounting, business, public administration, or a related field are encouraged to apply. 

Job Responsibilities:

• Working with City financial and accounting systems
• Organizing departmental documentation
• Producing various studies and reports as needed by the Finance Department
• Submitting financial reporting

Preferred Qualifications:                                                                                          

• Completion of at least one (1) year of college or university coursework with a major in finance, accounting, business, public administration, or a related field.
• Valid driver’s license.
