Forensic Accounting Associate
Yip Associates is seeking full time Forensic Accounting Associates.
Yip Associates is a leading boutique Forensic Accounting firm that services clients in investigations, litigation, bankruptcy, and fiduciary matters. We are seeking driven individuals with a curious mindset to expand and grow our practice.

Responsibilities:
- Perform complex data analyses
- Read, analyze, and assess financial and non-financial records
- Identification and tracing of assets
- Build financial models for various needs
- Compile information and draft various financial reports
- Prepare exhibits and illustrations of data
Qualifications:
- A strong desire to be a Forensic Accountant as a long term career
- Bachelor's Degree or higher in accounting, finance, or related field of study
- A Certified Public Accountant, or the strong intent to sit for the CPA exams is helpful. Certified Fraud Examiner, and other certifications are also helpful
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, QuickBooks and PowerPoint - other programs a plus
- Attention to Detail - the ability to pick up on the smallest of inconsistencies within a data-set, exhibit, or report
- Curiosity - relies on intuition and experience to complement data; ability to identify, analyze and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets; always asks why or how
- Problem Solving - identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner; ability to troubleshoot or research; gathers and analyzes information skillfully; uses reason to find answers
- Strong Written and Verbal Communication Skills - writes clearly and informatively; always double checks work for errors; speaks clearly, and has the ability to communicate professionally with clients and colleagues
