Leasing Intern (Lumarc Apartments) — Part-Time / Flexible Schedule

Position Summary

AGB Property Management is hiring a Leasing Intern to support the lease-up of Lumarc Apartments. This is a great role for a student or recent grad who’s personable, organized, and social media savvy. You’ll help generate interest, schedule and lead tours, and support the Community Director in converting prospects into move-ins—especially during high-demand times like afternoons, evenings, and weekends.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct in-person tours and confidently present the community and units

Follow up with leads by phone, text, and email to convert inquiries into applications

Help manage leasing pipeline: scheduling, reminders, tour prep, and next steps

Assist with marketing and outreach, including:

Social media posts/reels/stories (IG, FB, TikTok, etc.)

Capturing on-site photos/videos (units, amenities, neighborhood)

Helping promote specials, availability, and events

Support resident move-in activities as needed (welcome process, basic checklists, coordination)

Maintain a clean, professional leasing environment (model unit, signage, tour readiness)

Provide weekly updates to the Community Director on tours, leads, and follow-ups

What Success Looks Like

Prospects feel welcomed and informed during tours

Fast, consistent follow-up that improves application volume and move-ins

Strong social media presence that drives awareness and leasing traffic

Reliable coverage during peak leasing hours (late afternoons/evenings/weekends)

Qualifications

Current student or recent graduate preferred (marketing, communications, business, real estate, hospitality, or similar)

Strong people skills: friendly, confident, and able to connect quickly

Comfortable leading tours and handling objections professionally

Social media competency (posting, simple content creation, short-form video a big plus)

Organized and responsive (you follow through and keep things moving)

Reliable transportation and the ability to be on-site in Columbus

Familiarity with leasing/real estate is a plus, but not required—we’ll train the right person

Schedule & Availability

Flexible part-time hours based on your schedule

We are specifically seeking coverage for afternoons, evenings, and weekends as needed

Additional hours may be available during peak leasing periods

Compensation

Paid internship / hourly role (rate based on experience)

Potential performance-based incentives may be available per company policy
