TCHC was founded in 2003 and became employee-owned in 2021. Our Sales Associates/Cashiers play a key role in providing legendary customer service to our clients. Don’t know anything about hardware? Don’t worry, we’ll teach you!!
***All positions will begin training at our Silver Spring location before the store opens in Rockville***
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in receiving, stocking, and pricing of all merchandise
- Cashiering (handling money, giving accurate change)
- Maintain clean and orderly store appearance
- Deliver customer service with enthusiasm and genuine interest in ensuring guest satisfaction
- Communicate clearly, effectively, and politely with customers in store and over the phone
Requirements
- Ability to stand for an extended period of time and be able to lift 40lbs frequently
- Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills
- Ability and willingness to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Retail experience preferred and previous home improvement knowledge helpful
- Spanish speaking is a plus!
