Each summer, Victory Junction recruits a diverse staff of exceptional individuals to form our seasonal summer staff. Take part in the magic of camp as we uphold our Core Values and give unforgettable camp experiences to amazing campers.

Lifeguards are a paid position with a weekly salary, along with meals and housing provided for the entire summer. They are identified as Program Counselors who are trained to set up/facilitate/break down their activity areas for our campers each day of programming. Lifeguards are in charge of our aquatics, including our accessible waterpark and Boating & Fishing Marina. Lifeguarding includes competence in the knowledge and skills of the American Red Cross (ARC) Lifeguarding.

When not in their assigned program areas, lifeguards will assist campers with activities of daily living (such as showering, changing clothes, wheelchair transfers, etc.), provide support and encouragement at different activities, and ensure the health, safety, and overall well-being of our campers.
