Graphic Designer

Legal Media is looking to add a full-time designer to our litigation consulting team! Our designers conceptualize and produce graphics through various media that are used in high-profile legal disputes across the United States. These ever-changing projects are exciting and intellectually stimulating. We are an energetic and supportive team that values diversity, character, effort, and talent. Our designers work under the supervision of Senior Designers and Trial Consultants to meet client needs for graphic design and trial support services. Work takes place in the office 3 days a week, from home 2 days a week, and on-site at trial locations around the country.

  • Position requires knowledge of the Adobe Creative Cloud suite of products (Illustrator, Photoshop); Microsoft Office 365 (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook); Windows 11; Dropbox; Teams

 

RESPONSIBILITIES OVERVIEW

  • Graphic Design: Assist clients and LMI designers with presentations, standalone graphics, and creation of images/elements to be included in finished products. Communicate with clients to understand creative needs for demonstratives and design draft concepts for review. Coordinate with board vendors to produce and deliver large-format graphics mounted on foam core or gatorboard. Quality-check work product for accuracy and conformity to project objectives. Complete timesheet entries with a detailed description of work performed.

SKILLS AND SOFTWARE KNOWLEDGE  

  • Adobe Creative Cloud: Document prep – create high-resolution transparent PNG files for presentation of documents and document callouts. Image editing – modify stock images and vector art to suit project needs using program features such as layers, pen tool, fill and stroke, and image export.
  • PowerPoint: Ability to use Master Slides, Transitions, Animations and Animation timeline, Selection Pane, Audio, and Video File Insertion. Shape and text box formatting.
