Position Overview
The Social Media Intern will play a hands-on role in content creation, community engagement, and campaign support across Morrie’s Auto Group’s social media platforms. You’ll help bring our brand voice to life - showcasing our vehicles, our people, and our customers through scroll-stopping visuals and authentic storytelling.
This role is ideal for a creative, self-motivated student who loves digital trends, cars, and culture, and wants to gain real-world experience in automotive marketing.
Key Responsibilities

Content Creation:
- Assist in planning, filming, and editing short-form video content (Instagram Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts).
- Capture behind-the-scenes footage at events, dealerships, and community partnerships.
- Create on-brand graphics and captions for social media posts.

Campaign Support:
- Help brainstorm and execute seasonal or promotional campaigns.
- Support influencer partnerships, contests, and giveaways.
- Research trends and competitor activity to inform creative ideas.

Brand Storytelling:
- Collaborate with dealership teams to feature employees, customers, and vehicles.
- Highlight community events and brand initiatives that reinforce Morrie’s values.
Qualifications
- Pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
- Passion for social media trends, storytelling, and video creation.
- Familiarity with platforms like TikTok, Instagram, Snapchat, Facebook and YouTube.
- Ability to edit content in Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere).
- Strong written communication and attention to detail.
- Must have reliable transportation for on-site shoots and events.
