Position Overview

World Compassion is seeking a Creative Producer (Video & Digital) to help share the stories of what God is doing in nations restricted to the Gospel. This is a video-first execution role responsible for filming, editing, and delivering clear, engaging content that encourages generosity and strengthens partner connection, while also supporting photo edits, digital graphics, social assets, and simple web and email updates. You will help maintain a steady flow of high-quality content carried out with excellence, integrity, and appropriate discretion when handling sensitive stories or environments.

  • Manage a reliable, efficient content pipeline delivering platform-ready assets on time.
  • Elevate the quality and consistency of digital creative output and deliver fast turnarounds for campaigns, events, podcasts, and digital communications.
  • Maintain a structured, searchable digital asset library for all media content.
  • Drive meaningful increases in online engagement and donor response.

This role collaborates closely with Marketing and Development teams and requires careful handling of content from restricted nations.
 

Key Responsibilities

Video Production, Editing & Finishing

  • Capture and coordinate high-quality footage and stills in target nations for donor-facing storytelling. International and domestic travel is required.
  • Assist in developing creative concepts that communicate the World Compassion story effectively.
  • Shape clear narratives from interviews and b-roll using paper edits, selects, and natural pacing (J/L cuts, etc.).
  • Produce videos for web, social media, email campaigns, events, internal communications, and podcasts.
  • Film, edit, and publish regular podcast episodes across multiple distribution channels.
  • Demonstrate familiarity with editing in Final Cut Pro X and/or DaVinci Resolve, including color workflows, clean dialogue mixes, captions/subtitles, and exports across multiple aspect ratios. Must show a drive to continually grow, stay ahead of evolving trends, and pursue bold, innovative approaches to digital storytelling.
  • Deliver optimized masters and web versions with thorough quality checks.
  • Manage audio, music, and SFX with dialogue-first mixes, tasteful balancing, stems organization, and licensing compliance.
  • Export loudness-safe mixes with synced captions (where required) that meet platform delivery standards.

Production Craft

  • Support interviews and field shoots; design three-point lighting; operate Canon/Sony/Blackmagic systems; capture lav/shotgun audio; assist with multi-cam, live-switch recording, and remote interviews.
  • Set up and run multitrack VO/podcast recording; use Pro Tools (or Fairlight) for cleanup and light mastering; maintain music/SFX libraries.
  • Produce fast-turn social edits using OpusClip, CapCut, or LumaFusion.
  • Create basic motion graphics in After Effects or motion-template systems (titles, lower thirds, slates).
  • Support simple livestream setups (OBS).
  • Prepare secure alternates (face blurs, name redactions) and scrub metadata for sensitive content.

Photo Editing & Delivery

  • Manage and assemble photo libraries using Lightroom Classic, including metadata/keywording, disciplined export presets, and digital asset management best practices.
  • The ability to use Photoshop is an advantage but not required.

Email, Landing Pages, Web, Social & CRM Support

  • Build GoHighLevel/WordPress campaign pages and emails using internal wireframes/themes in collaboration with the Marketing and Development team. Ensure on-brand consistency across all platforms.
  • Produce responsive email templates; update WordPress site content.
  • Understanding of HTML, CSS, GoHighLevel automations, and CRM workflows is an advantage.

Studio & Control Room Management

  • Maintain a functional, tidy, fully operational studio/control room with routine checks, organized cabling, and equipment readiness.
  • Track and maintain inventory across cameras, lighting, audio, batteries, and media.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Collaborate in Asana and Slack; follow naming and versioning standards.
  • Ensure backups, rights/releases, and confidentiality for sensitive content.
  • Serve as a flexible, solutions-oriented team member, supportive of emerging leadership needs.

Qualifications

  • A heart for missions and willingness to travel domestically and internationally.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a creative field preferred; strong portfolio may substitute. Current students considered for full-time equivalent roles.
  • Proven experience across video editing, photo editing (bonus), and digital content creation.
  • Ability to self-rate proficiency (1–5) in: Lightroom Classic, Photoshop, FCPX, DaVinci Resolve, Pro Tools/Logic/Fairlight (bonus), WordPress, GoHighLevel, HTML/CSS, Asana, Slack, Google Workspace.
  • Comfortable in an Apple-native workflow; PC-friendly.
  • Soft skills: initiative, accuracy at speed, servant-leadership posture, collaboration, trustworthiness, and careful handling of sensitive material.

Working Conditions & Compliance

  • In-office role in Tulsa, OK.
  • International Travel: 2–4 trips per year (10–12 days per trip).
  • Occasional domestic travel.
  • Comfortable handling faith-forward content.
  • Alignment with World Compassion’s mission and values.
  • Background check required.

Commitment, Compensation & Benefits

  • Full-time role (40+ hours/week).
  • A three-year commitment is preferred due to specialized training and travel.
