The ideal candidate will have 1 to 2 years of experience in robot programming, specifically in the Paint department. This is a contract role on W2

JOB DESCRIPTION:
Responsibility :
- This person will be creating offline robot programs for download in a robotic production process.
- Coordinate with Regional Paint Engineer study, conduct the trial, evaluate based on safety, quality, productivity, and cost.
- Supporting Paint DE group to robot processes.

- This includes leading all meetings with related groups, document creation, and supporting the plants in the process.
- Position will include travel to US, Mexico and Canada pending covid restrictions to support projects. Position will report to the Digital Engineering Manager.
- Must be able to work with minimal direction and previous experience is a must.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Require: Programing paint robots offline programming software or equivalent .
- Experience with automated robotic paint shop applications
- Experience with Digital Engineering
Additional related certifications
- 2 years technical degree or equivalent work experience Or 4 years technical degree or equivalent work experience
- Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
- Creative problem solver who thrives when presented with a challenge
- Able to analyze problems and strategize for better solutions
- Flexible and able to multitask on several different aspects of a project or on multiple projects
- Able to take initiative to recommend projects, product improvements, or cost reductions
