Position Available: Front Office Manager/Administrative Assistant

Pay : Depending on Experience starting -$18.00 /hr

 

We're seeking a front desk administrative assistant on-location for our vibrant downtown media company. This isn't a remote role – we thrive on in-person collaboration!

 

Hours: we are open from 8am - 7pm - looking to work with individuals to find best coverage during these times 

Key Qualities:

  • Organized: Bring your knack for order and efficiency.
  • Self-Starter: Dive into tasks with initiative.
  • Phone Etiquette: Excellent communication skills are a must.

 

Role Highlights:

  • Support the company president in various tasks.
  • Manage shipping/receiving of hard drives and video equipment.
  • Extend hospitality by greeting clients and directing them.
  • Handle a multi-line phone system with finesse.
  • Keep office/kitchen supplies well-stocked.
  • Coordinate catering for in-house and off-site productions.
  • Calendar and email management for the company president.

 

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in video production (though not mandatory).
  • Administrative skills: Transcribing, email correspondence, conference call coordination, and spreadsheet upkeep.

 

Must-Haves:

  • Detail-oriented with a collaborative spirit.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Strong grammar skills.
  • Comfortable creating estimates.
