Research Analyst Intern (Summer 2026)

Job Overview:  Econic Partners is hiring Interns to join us during the Summer of 2026 for all US office locations. Interns work on project teams at the direction of project managers and senior staff.  Interns assist with gathering, processing, and analyzing data; completing qualitative research; and preparing client-deliverable workproduct. 

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assisting with the analysis of complex economic data using a variety of tools, including STATA, SAS, R, Python, and other coding languages.
  • Producing tables, graphs, and other visual representations of analytical results.
  • Completing qualitative research assignments related to economic and industry-specific issues relevant to on-going client engagements.
  • Reviewing documents and other materials as necessary to identify case-specific information as requested by supervisors.
  • Assisting with the preparation of expert testimony and other client-deliverable workproduct.
  • Completing audits and ensuring the accuracy of analyses and workproduct.
  • Participating in internal and external meetings as requested and appropriate.
  • Contributing to a positive work environment.

 

Qualifications:

  • Candidates must be in their final year (graduating in Winter 2026 or Spring 2027) of a bachelor’s and/or master’s degree preferably in economics, statistics, mathematics, computer science or other closely related fields, or equivalent relevant work experience.
  • Candidates must have a GPA of 3.4 or higher
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

The hourly salary for the Intern role is $50.00 plus overtime.
