Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our fast-paced orthopedic surgery practice. This dynamic role requires frequent travel between office locations, providing imaging services that support all aspects of orthopedics, pain management, spine surgery, and podiatry. The ideal candidate will perform diagnostic imaging examinations, ensuring patient safety and producing high-quality images for accurate diagnosis.
Key Responsibilities
- Travel between practice locations to perform X-rays in a fast-paced environment.
- Prepare patients for imaging procedures, explaining the process and ensuring their comfort.
- Operate radiologic equipment safely and effectively, adhering to safety protocols.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation using an electronic health record system.
- Collaborate closely with physicians and healthcare professionals to determine appropriate imaging techniques.
- Monitor patients during procedures, ensuring their safety and well-being.
- Perform regular maintenance and troubleshooting of imaging equipment.
- Stay up-to-date with advancements in radiologic technology and best practices.
Required Skills & Qualifications
· State license in Radiologic Technology
· ARRT certification
- Proficient in diagnostic radiology techniques, particularly X-ray.
- Strong knowledge of human physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology.
- Familiarity with urgent care protocols and emergency medicine practices, particularly in orthopedics.
- Ability to operate complex imaging systems efficiently in high-pressure situations.
- Excellent communication skills for effective patient interaction and collaboration.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Experience with electronic health record systems.
- Adaptable and comfortable with travel as a regular part of responsibilities.
