Marketing & Customer Engagement Specialist

Pay: $17.00 - $29.00 per hour

Job Title: Marketing & Customer Engagement Specialist

Job Description: C. Michael Exteriors, one of Central New York’s leading home improvement companies specializing in replacement windows, siding, and bathroom remodels, is seeking a motivated, high-energy Marketing & Customer Engagement Specialist. This hybrid role blends event promotions, customer interaction, and call center appointment setting to maximize brand impact and lead generation across multiple channels. This is an ideal position for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys talking with people in person and over the phone, and wants a long-term growth path with strong earning potential.

What You’ll Do

Event Promotions & Community Engagement: Serve as the friendly, engaging face of our company at:

  • Home shows
  • Local fairs, festivals, expos, and community events
  • Partner retail locations such as Walmart and the Regional Market Your responsibilities at events include:
  • Starting conversations with homeowners
  • Sharing what we do and how we help
  • Scheduling free in-home design consultations (no selling)
  • Assisting with booth setup/teardown
  • Representing the brand with professionalism and energy

Call Center & Customer Support: When not at events, you’ll support our inbound and outbound customer engagement efforts by:

  • Handling inbound and outbound calls
  • Identifying customer needs and clarifying project details
  • Setting qualified in-home appointments
  • Managing customer inquiries with excellent service
  • Performing general office duties as assigned

Who We’re Looking For: You’ll excel in this hybrid role if you:

  • Have a confident, upbeat, people-focused personality
  • Enjoy talking to customers both face-to-face and over the phone
  • Are goal-driven and motivated by performance bonuses
  • Are reliable, coachable, and able to work independently or with a team
  • Can stand for extended periods and assist with event setup
  • Have strong computer, communication, and listening skills
  • Can multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Are adaptable to different personality types and customer needs
  • Have reliable transportation and flexible availability (days, nights, weekends)

Experience in events, call centers, customer service, inside sales, or promotions is a plus — but not required for the right candidate.

This is not a remote position.
