Digital Marketing & Social Media Intern (Remote – NYC-Based)

Responsibilities

Design, edit, and produce visuals and short-form videos for Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube, etc.

Support the creation of newsletters, blog posts, and digital campaigns.

Draft captions, schedule posts, and engage with the community.

Research trends and new content opportunities within women’s health.

Help track performance and engagement analytics.

Maintain brand consistency — scientific yet human, professional yet empathetic.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Proficiency with creative tools such as Canva, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, After Effects), or CapCut.

Strong understanding of Instagram, TikTok, and LinkedIn — you know what performs well, how trends evolve, and how to create content that connects.

Experience using social management tools (e.g., Meta Business Suite, Later, or Planoly).

Strong writing and editing skills, particularly for digital and email communication.

Previous experience in digital marketing or social media is preferred but not required.

Remote position — must be located within commutable distance to New York, NY for occasional in-person meetings or content sessions.

Portfolio or sample work required — may include social posts, graphics, videos, or other creative projects.

Proficiency in Portuguese, Italian, or Spanish is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications

Interest or experience in healthcare, women’s health, or wellness communication.

Basic knowledge of email marketing platforms (Mailchimp, Flodesk, or similar).

Photography, videography, or motion design skills.

Understanding of SEO or analytics tools.
