Position Overview
The Client Growth Summer Intern will play a critical role in supporting both the New Business and Existing Business teams during a pivotal moment in AIIR’s growth strategy. This internship is designed for a highly motivated, analytically minded individual who is eager to learn how a fast-growing professional services organization generates pipeline, converts opportunities, and expands client partnerships.
You will gain hands-on experience with business analytics, revenue operations, sales process optimization, and client engagement—while contributing meaningful work that influences H2 strategy and organizational performance.
Key Responsibilities
1. Data Analysis & Insights (Primary Focus)
- Analyze H1 performance data related to:
- Tip-of-the-Spear strategies
- Regional growth strategies
- Pipeline generation, conversion, and revenue outcomes
- Net-new logo acquisition
- Event-driven leads and influence
- Evaluate the success and effectiveness of these strategies using historical data, supporting metrics, and qualitative insights from team leaders.
- Identify patterns, areas of strength, and opportunities where strategies may require adjustment for H2 and beyond.
- Produce clear, visually engaging insights (dashboards, summaries, or reports) to inform leadership decision-making.
2. Pipeline & Forecasting Support
- Analyze H1 performance and evaluate current H2 pipeline health for both New Business and Existing Business teams.
- Identify risks, opportunities, and gaps across territories, regions, or verticals.
- Support development of H2 outlook materials for leadership, including presentations or briefing documents.
3. HubSpot CRM Cleanup & Maintenance
- Audit HubSpot records to ensure accuracy, completeness, and usability for frontline team members.
- Standardize key data fields such as: contact records, deal stages, company information, lead source attribution, and activity logging.
- Support enhancements to the data structure and cleanliness of HubSpot to increase reliability of reporting and user experience.
4. Master Account Spreadsheet Audit
- Conduct a comprehensive audit of AIIR’s master account spreadsheet.
- Lead our mid-year color-coding account audit.
- Compare and reconcile dataset with HubSpot and KPI trackers to ensure alignment, consistent naming conventions, accurate ownership, and complete historical information.
- Recommend and implement improvements to structure, version control, or workflows.
5. Business Operations & Ad Hoc Support
- Assist the Client Growth team with ad-hoc client, deal, or project-related tasks as they arise.
- Collaborate with team members on special analytics, research, or internal enablement projects.
6. Exposure & Learning Opportunities
- Attend and shadow select client meetings to observe client discovery practices, strategic positioning, and partnership development.
- Participate in internal cross-functional alignment meetings and team stand-ups.
- Receive mentorship and professional development from leaders across the Client Growth organization.
Who You Are
- Strong analytical skills with comfort and/or interest in working in spreadsheets, CRM tools, and datasets.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work.
- Curious, driven, proactive, and excited to learn in a fast-moving consulting environment.
- Able to manage multiple priorities and communicate clearly with stakeholders.
- Interest in leadership development, consulting, sales operations, or revenue strategy is a plus.
