Artisan
Think you have what it takes?
At Wendover Art Group, we don’t approach fine art like a traditional studio and that’s exactly the point. We operate at the intersection of creativity, manufacturing, and disciplined execution. Success here requires collaboration, technical excellence, comfort with feedback, and the ability to perform at a high level in a fast-paced, metrics-driven environment.
This role is not for hobbyists. It is for artists who want their work to live at scale, who care deeply about craft and outcomes, and who are motivated by growth, accountability, and continuous improvement.
The Opportunity
Wendover is seeking an Artisan who wants to play a meaningful role in building world-class artwork within a manufacturing environment. This is a rare opportunity for a fine arts professional to design, develop, document, and shepherd artwork from concept through production, ensuring creative intent survives scale.
The Artisan acts as a critical bridge between Creative and Production, translating art direction into clear, repeatable, and teachable production standards. You will own not only the creation of artwork, but also the documentation, training, and quality oversight required to produce it consistently at volume.
Wendover’s integrated platform offers unmatched creative exposure spanning original product lines, major national retailers, interior designers, and commercial design firms—supported by significant investment in tools, techniques, and in-house R&D capabilities.
What You’ll Be Responsible For
- Create, document, and oversee artwork from concept through production
- Develop and maintain production documentation, including SOPs, step-by-step instructions, and production manuals
- Verbally and visually communicate application techniques to Production Artisan teams
- Translate creative intent into scalable production requirements (materials, methods, standards)
- Train and coach production team members to ensure consistency and quality
- Troubleshoot artwork and production issues with practical, efficient solutions
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Creative, Supply Chain, and Operations teams
