Account Processor
We are currently looking for a full-time Account Processor to join our growing insurance office, and we are hoping it is you. Responsibilities:
- Process carrier downloaded documents and review communication log for accuracy.
- Review policies to ensure accuracy and request corrections as necessary.
- Process/follow up on new business, endorsements and renewals.
- Review, update and issue certificates, EOI’s and auto ID’s.
- Create new business and renewal letters and send policies out to customers.
- Keep detailed and accurate records of all documents, emails, underwriting requests, etc..
- Answer phones.
- Process incoming mail.
- Generate customer invoices and process payments.
- Process customer claim requests (no claim follow-up).
- Develop strong relationships with clients to maintain client retention.
Requirements:
- An Active MI Property & Casualty License is preferred or ability to obtain license within 60 days of hire.
- 2+ years of insurance experience is preferred.
- Knowledge of or ability to learn commercial insurance and application of coverages.
- An organized, team player with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Attention to details with the ability to prioritize and think critically.
- Basic computer software knowledge, experience with Applied Epic software system is a plus.
