Elementary Teacher

We are a Hindu faith-based education organization focused on character, calm, and concept mastery. We use The Good and the Beautiful for ELA/Math foundations and layer in interconnected, real-world projects that make learning meaningful.

What You’ll Teach

Lower Pod (Grades 1–2): Early literacy/phonics, number sense, math facts, handwriting, read-alouds, nature & habit formation.

Upper Pod (Grades 4–5): Grammar & writing craft, close reading, fractions/decimals/geometry foundations, problem solving, research & presentations.

Core focus: Math and English, with interconnected learning across history/science/arts and real-world applications.

Screen Free, In person learning

Responsibilities

Deliver clear, structured lessons aligned to The Good and the Beautiful while thoughtfully adapting for student needs.

Plan interconnected projects that link math & ELA to culture, service, and daily life.

Use simple, consistent routines; balance challenge without overwhelm.

Track concept mastery with quick checks, rubrics, and conferencing; communicate progress to families.

Collaborate with parents; welcome volunteers for reading groups, projects, and events.

Model values consistent with a Hindu faith-inspired environment (kindness, respect, seva).

Salary: $25-40

Days: Monday through Friday
