Community Outreach Intern
Hoboken Grace Community Church is looking for a part-time community outreach intern for our Engage Department. The individual will work directly with our Engagement Associate Director and staff team to ensure all day-to-day needs are planned and executed.
This position is ideal for anyone looking to gain organizational and planning skills, along with valuable hands-on experience in a non-profit environment. The candidate must be able to work on-site in Hoboken, NJ and must be eligible to work in the United States.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Flexible attitude, as tasks will change week to week
- Open to getting out of comfort zone in meeting new people
- Comfortable with Excel/Google Sheets/Google Docs
- Detail and task-oriented
- Ability to multitask and balance multiple projects at once
- Must be able to work onsite
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assisting in preparing and executing weekly efforts to invite people in our community into services at Hoboken Grace (What we call ‘Simple Service’)
- Planning, ordering & prepping supplies for Simple Service
- Document processes for planning & executing community events
- Organizing & maintaining inventory of department supplies
- Support Associate Director leading up to events
SCHEDULE
- February 10 - April 23, 2026
- 10 - 20 hours per week depending on candidate
COMPENSATION PACKAGE
- $250 - $500 stipend at the end of the internship
