Theatre Staff

Point O’Pines Camp for Girls is located on a private peninsula on Brant Lake in the Adirondack Mountains of New York. Our goal is to give girls the best summer ever. We help them build confidence and make friends in a safe, fun place.

We are looking for energetic Theater Staff to help run our performing arts program. This job is perfect for theater or education students who want to lead rehearsals and put on high-quality shows. You will work with a team to direct campers, teach acting skills, and make sure every girl feels brave enough to take the stage.

You will use your creative skills to lead daily drama workshops and direct scenes for camp-wide productions. You will also handle the "behind-the-scenes" work, like managing props, organizing costumes, and helping with basic stage setup. When the show is running, you will coach campers through their nerves and make sure the performance goes smoothly. This job keeps you on your feet and active, as you will be moving between the theater and outdoor rehearsal spaces all day. You should be ready to bring high energy to every practice and stay organized as you manage multiple groups.

• Usually a theater, musical theater, or education major.
• Strong communication skills and a talent for working with children.
• Able to take initiative, solve problems quickly, and work well on a creative team.
