Teaching Assistant - Work Study

Federal work study on-campus ACA variable hours and US work authorization required.

The Dolores Dore Eccles Center for Early Care and Education Center serves to provide and maintain a safe, nurturing, and developmentally appropriate learning environment for young children in the context of establishing mutually supportive partnerships with families.  The Teaching Assistant will assist early care and education providers with providing constant supervision and positive communication and care to young children. It is expected that this position works cooperatively and supportively with the Lead Teacher and assistant teachers to provide a safe, nurturing, and developmentally appropriate environment for children.   The position will be 10 - 20 hours per week.

Minimum Qualifications:

-18 years of age and high school diploma or GED.

-Work Study funding.

Preferred:

Formal Experience working with children ages 0-8.

Coursework related to early education, human development, or child guidance.
