Student Ambassador (Paid, Part-Time)

We’re looking for individual students who want to help bring a free, practical personal finance tool to their campus.

Kiro Money is a financial tool built specifically for college students. Students use it to ask real money questions, understand their situation, and feel less overwhelmed about finances without spreadsheets, lectures, or judgment.

This role is not a sales role and not a social media influencer role. We’re looking for students who can realistically introduce Kiro to their campus through clubs, organizations, events, or group settings they are already part of.

Responsibilities

As an Ambassador, you will:

  • Introduce Kiro Money to students on your campus through clubs, organizations, dorms, or group settings
  • Help bring Kiro into real campus moments such as:
    • club meetings
    • workshops (which the Kiro team can host)
    • info sessions
    • sponsored events, challenges, or competitions
    • …or even posting on Fizz!
  • Encourage students to try Kiro live and ask real financial questions
  • Partner with student organizations to help coordinate personal finance workshops when relevant
  • Share clear feedback with the Kiro team on what students find helpful, confusing, or interesting
  • You will be supported with guidance, materials, and help coordinating workshops or events

Skills We’re Looking For

  • You're someone who can spread the word about great tools on your campus! No prior finance experience is required.
  • We’re looking for students who demonstrate:
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
    • Comfort speaking with peers in small group settings
    • Initiative and follow-through
    • Ability to organize or support campus activities or events

Minimum Requirements

  • Must be currently enrolled at a college or university
  • Must be involved in at least one campus group, organization, or community
  • Must be able to commit approximately 2–4 hours per month during the semester
  • Must be willing to try Kiro Money personally as part of the application process
  • No specific major, coursework, or prior work experience required.

Time Commitment

  • Part-time, flexible
  • Approximately 2–4 hours per month
  • Most work happens around events, workshops, or group moments on campus

Compensation

  • $200 stipend
  • Additional rewards and incentives may be available for hosting events or workshops and getting more sign ups
  • Compensation is not tied to commissions, follower count, or social media posting.

Application Instructions (Required)

To apply, please complete both steps below:

Try Kiro Money

Create a free Kiro Money account and try out our tool. See what stands out to you and what would be valuable for you and your friends. No need to link your accounts, but if you do, the tool is a whole lot better!

Submit a simple campus pitch idea
In a few sentences, describe:

  • One event, workshop, or campus setting where you could see yourself introducing Kiro Money
  • Who the audience would be
  • Why you think students would show up
  • This does not need to be polished at all. We’re just looking for your ability to generate a few ideas based on your initial interaction with the platform.

Email your idea to alisha@joinkiro.com and sara@joinkiro.com alongside your resume.

Applications are on a rolling basis.

What We’re Evaluating

Applicants are evaluated based on:

  • Whether they tried the product
  • Their ability to explain Kiro in simple terms
  • Their ability to imagine a realistic campus activation
  • Clear communication and follow-through
  • You do not need a finance background to apply.
