Role Overview

We’re looking for a Shmoozer Engagement Manager to lead campus activation and engagement efforts during a key growth phase. This role focuses on managing campus interns/ambassadors, driving Shmoozer waitlist sign-ups, and ensuring consistent, on-brand engagement across campuses.

You will act as the main point of contact between Shmoozer HQ and campus teams, helping execute on-the-ground initiatives and maintain strong momentum in community growth.

This is a paid, freelance, short-term full-time contract with the potential to evolve into a permanent role based on performance and company needs.

Key Responsibilities

Campus Intern & Ambassador Management

Coordinate and manage campus interns/ambassadors responsible for promoting Shmoozer

Share clear guidelines, messaging, and weekly engagement goals

Track intern activity, outreach efforts, and performance

Motivate, support, and hold interns accountable to sign-up targets

Campus Engagement & Waitlist Growth

Lead campus-based initiatives to drive Shmoozer waitlist sign-ups

Coordinate tabling, flyering, events, and peer-to-peer outreach

Ensure consistent brand messaging and positioning on all campuses

Monitor sign-up flow and optimize engagement strategies as needed

Reporting & Optimization

Track weekly sign-ups 

Provide regular updates and insights to the core team

Identify trends, challenges, and opportunities to improve engagement

Compensation
Hourly pay: $16.90/hour
Commission: $10 for each Shmoozer officially onboarded
