Position Overview
Obra Capital is looking to hire a motivated and energetic individual to join our Investor Relations team for a 10-week summer analyst program that will run from June 2nd, 2025 to August 8th, 2025. This position will sit in our New York office supporting both our investor relations and business development team. This a dynamic opportunity for someone seeking a career in the alternative investment space. The ideal candidate will have a strong academic track record, communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. This position will report into our Head of Business Development.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support the Investor Relations Team by providing information on firm strategies and funds to clients and marketing teams
- Assist in the production of presentations for investors and internal stakeholders
- Conduct market and competitor analysis to support decision making and investor communications
- Support new business development initiatives across the firm
- Assist in fundraising activities for private funds
- Manage and report transactional data to third-party providers
- Collaborate with internal teams to streamline processes and enhance data consistency
- Develop strong working relationships with experts across the firm
- Ensure accuracy and organization of data and information in all materials
- Oversee investor meeting preparation
Qualifications
•Currently enrolled as an undergraduate student, ideally majoring in Business, with a GPA of 3.7 or higher
•Anticipated graduation date between December 2025 and August 2026
•Strong problem-solving abilities
•Excellent work ethic and ability to work in a fast-paced team environment
•Superior oral and written communication skills
•Ability to apply judgment, creativity, and writing skills in developing content
•Exceptional attention to detail, prioritizing accuracy and organization
•Intermediate to Advanced MS Excel skills
•Track record of academic excellence and participation in campus activities
