Administrative Assistant

OPPORTUNITY: 

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable individual to provide essential administrative support during the busy tax season. This role is crucial for ensuring the efficient flow of client documentation and the accurate final assembly of tax returns. The ideal candidate will be meticulous, organized, and capable of working in a fast-paced environment.  

 

RESPONSIBILITIES: 

You will be scanning client documents into the electronic file cabinet and assembling any required paper tax returns for the client. 

 

Additionally, you will be assisting with workflow management of returns through the office or into client portals. There may also be light general office duties. 

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS 

Attention to Detail: A high degree of accuracy and extreme attention to detail are essential for handling sensitive financial documents. 

Proficiency with office equipment, including scanners, printers, and postage scales. 

Comfortable with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and general computer literacy. 

Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a seasonal environment. 

Communication: Excellent, written and verbal communication skills. 

Confidentiality: Ability to maintain strict client confidentiality and handle sensitive information with integrity. 

Reliability: Punctual, reliable, and able to follow instructions accurately.

This is a part-time, seasonal position with flexible hours available.
