Graphic Design & Print Production Specialist
Position Overview
We are looking for a Graphic Design & Print Production Specialist to manage the production of CD/DVD/USB orders, prepare files for print production, and complete graphic design jobs. Must be able to work in our office in order to ensure effective communication with our print department.
Key Responsibilities:
Print Production & Graphic Design
- Operating digital print press jobs.
- Performing graphic design for CDs, DVDs, Blu-ray projects, and marketing materials.
- Ensuring customer supplied files meet our specifications and are set up in the proper templates.
- Creating digital proofs quickly and effectively for customers before production.
- Communicating with customers to make sure their orders are correct.
CD, DVD, and Blu-ray Projects
- Review customer-submitted files and ensure they meet our specifications.
- Creating CD, DVD, and USB masters
- Authoring DVD and Blu-Ray discs (designing videos, setting chapter points, adding subtitles, creating disc images)
Inventory & Orders
- Create purchase orders for USB drives, CDs/DVDs, paper supplies, and other materials from vendors.
- Maintain inventory and track orders to ensure timely production.
Website & Online Tools
- Assist with website design and updates
Skills & Qualifications
- Experienced with Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving, and initiative.
- Familiarity with audio file formats (WAV, MP3) and CD mastering.
- Experience with print production, file preparation, and adding bleeds.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced, small team environment.
- Knowledge of DVD/Blu-ray authoring encouraged.
- Experience with Woocommerce or other eCommerce platforms.
