Engineering Associate

Applied Pavement Technology, Inc. (APTech), a nationally recognized engineering firm providing specialized pavement engineering services to transportation agencies, has immediate openings for a hard-working, well-organized entry-level engineers to work on a host of roadway and airport projects. The successful applicants will work on a variety of projects across the United States involving the evaluation, design, and management of pavements, as well as pavement research and training.

This full-time position will be located in APTech's corporate office in Champaign, Illinois, or its Waunakee, Wisconsin office and will require multi-day travel.

The ideal candidate should possess the following qualifications: 

• A background in civil engineering, with a concentration in transportation design or materials.
• Strong technical background.
• Proficiency in the use of MS Word, Excel, and other software programs.
• Good writing and communication skills.
• Knowledge of and interest in pavement management and pavement design.
• Experience with MicroPAVER or other pavement-related software is a plus.
