Entry Level or Higher Civil Engineer/Civil Tech
TEAM Engineering is seeking a highly motivated and qualified engineer or civil tech in our construction, land surveying and/or design groups. The candidate should possess time management skills, be familiar with Microsoft Office Programs and AutoCAD/Civil 3D and should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
Job Description
- Entry level engineering position that will include both roadway design and construction oversight duties.
- Construction oversight of projects in the field.
- Use civil engineering software (AutoCAD/Civil 3D) to prepare design plans.
- Perform engineering calculations, and support Engineers with day-to-day tasks associated with multiple disciplined projects.
- Interact and communicate effectively with team members, clients, and other agencies.
- Site layout, grading, utility design, erosion control, regulatory approvals, etc.
- Keep track of item quantities on construction projects.
- Boundary surveys, construction staking, section corner remonumentation work, topographic surveys, etc.
Qualifications
- Minimum of a two-year technical degree in a civil engineering or related field.
- Experience using the AutoCAD/Civil 3D software.
- Exceptional communication skills.
- Must possess a valid Driver's License and be able to provide own means of reliable transportation.
- Ability to travel as needed for projects, meetings, on-site inspections, etc.
- Ideal candidates will be comfortable completing a variety of tasks including both office and fieldwork.
