Content Creator & Social Lead (On-Camera)

The Role

Soar is looking for a content creator to help build the public face of the company.

This is not just an editing role. You’ll be creating daily short-form videos, appearing on camera, and working closely with the founder to shape Soar’s voice, storytelling, and social presence across TikTok, Instagram, and emerging platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Create and publish daily short-form videos (TikTok / Instagram Reels)
  • Be comfortable on camera and become a recognizable face of Soar
  • Edit raw travel and product footage into clear, engaging stories
  • Collaborate directly with the founder on content ideas, hooks, and formats
  • Manage posting cadence, captions, and basic community engagement
  • Track performance and iterate on what’s working
  • Test trends, sounds, and formats without chasing gimmicks

Compensation

Phase 1 — Trial (30–60 days)

  • $40–$60 per video
  • Performance bonuses tied to reach / virality
  • Clear expectations around posting frequency and output

Phase 2 — Long-Term (if it’s a fit)

  • Monthly cash stipend ($2,000–$3,000)
  • Equity: ~0.25%–0.75% (vesting)
  • Performance bonuses
  • Opportunity to grow into a larger content or social leadership role

Requirements

  • Strong short-form video creation & editing skills
  • Natural on-camera presence (or strong desire to build one)
  • Deep intuition for TikTok / Instagram and internet culture
  • Strong editorial judgment; you know what to cut, highlight, or simplify
  • Reliable, self-directed, and comfortable moving fast
  • Genuine interest in travel, culture, and building something early (not influencer-first, not overly polished)
