As part of our mission, we are seeking motivated undergraduate students to join our summer internship program at our Cambridge, MA office. As a Commercial Oncology Intern, you will gain exposure to the dynamic intersection of science and business within the oncology therapeutic area. This internship offers a unique opportunity to understand how Ipsen drives commercial strategy, external engagement, and market insights to support patient access and optimize business performance. You will learn how commercial teams collaborate with cross-functional partners to ensure strategic alignment, compliance, and impactful engagement with external stakeholders.
We will not consider graduate students (MBA, MS, PharmD, etc.) or undergraduate students graduating before December 2026. Qualified candidates are Juniors graduating in May/June 2027 and Seniors expected to graduate in Dec 2026.
We are also not providing housing support, so students will need to provide their own housing over the course of the 11-week program.
Main Responsibilities
- Assist in gathering and analyzing market trends, competitive intelligence, and customer insights to inform commercial strategies.
- Help prepare materials and coordinate activities for external stakeholder engagement, including healthcare professionals, advocacy groups, and industry partners.
- Support the development of dashboards, reports, and presentations to track performance metrics and engagement outcomes.
- Work closely with marketing, medical affairs, and market access teams to ensure alignment on initiatives and messaging.
- Assist in planning and executing commercial projects, including timelines, deliverables, and stakeholder communication.
- Ensure all activities adhere to regulatory and compliance standards, maintaining accurate records and documentation.
Knowledge & Experience:
- Rising senior pursuing a bachelor’s degree
- 3.0 GPA is a minimum requirement
- Must be eligible to work in the U.S.
- Fluency in English is required. French and other European languages are an asset
- Ideal candidates can communicate effectively, learn quickly, takes ownership of their work to deliver results, and is a true collaborator
