Science Teacher
SCIENCE TEACHER OPENINGS IN 2026-2027
Mount St. Mary Academy is recruiting for two qualified and enthusiastic teachers to join our science department:
- Chemistry and/or Physics
- Biology (Honors, On-Level and AP); Environmental Science
FLSA Classification: Exempt
Job Classification: Full-time; Contract teaching position
Reports to: Head of School
Pay based on scale (experience and education)
Position Requirements
- Strong background in the related subject matter.
- Strong commitment and passion for science education with the ability to engage students in a rigorous academic environment.
- Commitment to Catholic education and values.
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field, and Arkansas teaching certification.
- Two or more years of teaching experience is helpful.
- Must submit to mandatory pre-hire screenings (background checks, reference checks, Safe Environment training).
