Job description

We are seeking a dependable and responsible undergraduate student to join our Microbiology and Molecular Biology research lab. The position requires approximately 4 hours of work per week at a rate of $16-$18 per hour. Responsibilities include washing and autoclaving dishes and labware, refilling pipette tips, and occasionally preparing media for lab use. On-the-job training will be provided.

Qualifications:

  • Enrollment as an undergraduate student at Virginia Tech.
  • Preferably a sophomore or higher standing.
  • Eligibility for work-study funds is preferred.
