EXPERIENCED COLLECTIONS & JUDGMENT ENFORCEMENT ASSOCIATE / PARALEGAL

TROY LAW, PLLC is a civil litigation firm located in Flushing, New York, with a strong focus on collections and judgment enforcement.

Seeking an EXPERIENCED COLLECTIONS & JUDGMENT ENFORCEMENT ASSOCIATE / PARALEGAL

Primary responsibilities include managing and litigating collections and post-judgment enforcement matters, including:

• Handling all phases of collection litigation (such as turnover motions and proceedings), including case evaluation, drafting pleadings, motion practice, discovery, and court appearances.
• Conducting post-judgment enforcement, including third party information subpoenas and restraints; bank restraints and levies; wage garnishments; property executions
• Performing asset investigations to identify collectible assets such as bank accounts, employment, and real or personal property.

This position is a great opportunity for attorneys with a demonstrated interest in collections and judgment enforcement.

Requirements:

For Associate:

• Admissions to New York Bar for at least one (1) year, and preferably in New Jersey;

For Candidate:

• Candidates must have at least two (2) years of relevant Collections & Judgment Enforcement experience;
• The ideal candidate is diligent, detailed-oriented, well-versed in research and articulate on a professional level and able to work independently.
• Ability to speak Chinese and/or Spanish preferred, but not required.
